It was a pretty devastating time when Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake broke up in 2002. The thought of having no more matching, double denim, red carpet outfits was a travesty.
At the time, it was rumoured that the reason why the pair broke up was because Britney had cheated on him with a choreographer, although it wasn’t really known who this person was.
That is until now.
A few days ago it was rumoured that one of the Michael Jackson accusers from the Leaving Neverland documentary, Wade Robson, was in fact the one who had hooked up with Spears after he co-directer her world tours in 1999 and 2000.

These rumours have never actually been confirmed in the past but Robson’s girlfriend at the time, and Michael Jackson’s niece, Brandi Jackson, appeared to give truth to them during an interview with Kyle and Jackie O this morning.
Brandi was speaking with Kyle and Jackie about the Leaving Neverland documentary and was defending her late uncle Michael Jackson against sexual abuse claims made by Robson when the topic was discussed.
Brandi firstly made mention of the fact that while she was dating Robson, which was approximately between the years of 1991 and 2001, that he cheated on her.
“I can’t speak for him, I learned that he was cheating,” Brandi told us when speaking about her intimate relationship with Robson.
Kyle then brought up the rumour that Wade was the reason Britney and Justin broke up and Brandi seemingly confirmed that it was true.
“And by the way I never forgave him for the Britney, Justin thing,” Kyle said.
“Yeah that was wrong. That was a wrong thing to do,” Brandi responded.
“We did get the good ‘Cry Me A River’ song out of that from Justin,” Kyle added.
“It’s true,” Brandi laughed.
Rumours suggested at the time that Justin Timberlake had written his hit song ‘Cry Me A River’ about Britney cheating on him and that he blamed her for their break up.
The rumours suggested that Robson was the man who cheated with Britney after Justin reportedly found a note from Robson to Spears in her Saturday Night Live dressing room back in 2002.
Until now, the rumours were never confirmed to be true.
