A six-year-old girl has managed to purchase a string of items worth $250 through a locked shopping app on her mother’s smartphone.
While Bethany Howell was napping on the couch, her daughter Ashlynd gently picked up her mother’s thumb and used it to unlock the app.
She then proceeded to purchase several Pokemon products.
When her parents got 13 confirmation notices about the purchases, they thought that either they’d been hacked, which in a way, they were.
But Ashlynd proudly explained: “No, Mummy, I was shopping.”
They were able to return only four of the items.
Clearly it’s time to invest in a pair of napping gloves.
