Karl Stefanovic’s ex wife Cassandra Thorburn is set to reveal new details about her very public marriage breakdown in a new podcast all about divorces.
The Australian is reporting that Cass will delve into the end of her 21-year marriage with the newly reappointed Today Show host in a new podcast series from Seven West Media called, Divorce Story – Surviving Separation.
The podcast series is being created with New Idea magazine and will be co-hosted by Thorburn and journalist Annaliese Dent.
The couple announced their separation back in 2016 and they share three children together.
Karl has since remarried Jasmine Yarbrough at the end of 2018 and the pair are currently expecting their first child together.
Cassandra and Karl’s divorce made headlines throughout the years and was believed to be hardly amicable, with Cass telling Woman’s Day in 2017 that her ex-husband was “dead” to her.
“The children still have a father but I don’t have a husband,” she told the publication at the time. “He really is dead to me and no, we won’t ever be friends again.”
News of the podcast comes as Karl Stefanovic only recently returned to his post as co-host of The Today Show with Allison Langdon.
Back in 2018, the turmoil of his personal life and constant headlines led to him being let go from the breakfast TV program.
