Kanye West will not be released from the hospital as planned today because he has not yet recovered from his psychotic break.
TMZ has reported the star will not be leaving the UCLA Medical Centre as he is ‘not stable’. Sources close to the star have told the website that the plan had been for a ‘personal doctor to take charge of him upon release but ‘’Kanye is still not stable and will not be released today. In fact, there is now no release date set, because he had not recovered from his breakdown a week ago.”
TMZ reported earlier in the week that Kanye had been suffering extreme paranoia and at one point wouldn’t let doctors touch him at the medical centre.
West is said to have had continual ‘nightmares’ about his wife Kim Kardashian’s Paris robbery in the weeks before he was hospitalised.
The source said, “It did a number on him as much as Kim. The mere thought that anything could happen to her sent him into a tailspin. He wasn’t sleeping, and he was having nightmares about it.”
West was admitted to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Centre on November 21 after an incident at his personal trainer’s home in Los Angeles
