Ever since the Gilmore Girls and Will & Grace popped up with reunions, many of us have been sitting on the edge of our seats, awaiting news that the FRIENDS cast would get their SHIT together and get back together again?!

Well, you may not want to hear this.

She recently sat down for a chat on British talk show Lorraine, and explained that a reunion simply wouldn’t work.

She said the entire premise of the show was based on the pre-mobile phone and social media era. “I don’t know what we would do [in a reunion],” she said.

“I think that period of time was sort of nostalgic, you know? … I think people have such affection for it, even though it was only 12 years ago since it ended … there was something about a time where our faces weren’t shoved into cellphones and we weren’t, like, checking Facebooks and Instagram, and we were in a room together, or at a coffee shop together, and we were talking … having conversations. And we’ve lost that.”

Aniston also described re-runs of the show as “comfort food” for fans.

“It makes them feel better when they are down, when they want to distract themselves, because it’s always on, you can pretty much find it anywhere,” she said.

So, there you have it!
