Once again J K Rowling has won over twitter with a simple yet poignant message referencing Harry Potter and Hogwarts.
It began when the series author posted the below tweets about how she always envisioned Hogwarts would be an embracing and progressive environment for people from all walks of life.

The statement prompted plenty of discussion from Harry Potter fans and the general community alike but there was one such question that caught J K Rowling’s eye.
@jk_rowling it’s safe to assume that Hogwarts had a variety of people and I like to think it’s a safe place for LGBT students

Rowling is known for being highly engaging and open on the microblogging site but this definitely has us even more obsessed with the franchise and the wonderful world of Hogwarts.
As part of the 12 days of Christmas, Rowling is also busy releasing further short stories and snippets from her writing and we can’t wait to read it. Merry Christmas Harry Potter Lovers!
