After the world cup final on Sunday morning, the world began talking about Sonny Bill Williams and the little boy who’s life was made after SBW gifted him with his world cup medal.
The boy, who has now been revealed as Charlie Line, ran towards Williams after the All Blacks 34-17 victory over Australia but was taken out by security before he reached him. Williams then picked him up and told security to let him spend a moment with the All Blacks.

He then walked him back to his parents and gifted the ecstatic boy with his world cup medal.
What he didn’t know at the time is that the ‘boy’ is actually 14 years old!
According to a report on the Daily Telegraph, Williams thought he was giving his medal to a “seven or eight-year-old kid,” when actually he’s a teenager from the prestigious Independent Somerset School.
He was born in Singapore to British parents and has lived in several different countries all over the world, including Dubai, according to a report on the Daily Telegraph.
