After being mistakenly reported as dead in a six-car collision, this 19-year-old nursing student continues to build her strength.
Grayson Hicks was returning from a summer internship when she was involved the horrific accident, and he death was misreported in the local paper.
She suffered a severe brain injury and several broken bones, and although she doesn’t remember much from the accident her recovery is progressing well.
Even though she still suffers short-term memory problems, she should experience a full recovery in six to 12 months.
Her family and friends are raising money to cover the medical costs and rehabilitation on her GoFundMe page – they have almost reached their $20,000 goal.
