The Fast & Furious 7 has raced past Frozen to become the fifth highest-grossing movie of all-time after raking in $1.32 billion in global earnings since its release four weeks ago.

Frozen now slips to sixth on the countdown with $1.27 billion.

The latest instalment in Vin Diesel’s Fast & Furious franchise is expected to climb further up the list and overtake Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, which made $1.34 billion in 2011, as it continues to prove popular with cinema-goers.

Avatar leads the all-time list with just under $2.8 billion, followed by Titanic and The Avengers.
