Pop superstar Tones and I has purchased a house in Frankston in Melbourne’s suburbs.

The Dance Monkey singer, also known as Toni Watson, has paid around $800,000 in an off-market deal for a space outside the Lakewood Estate.

The area she has purchased is thought to be in one the south-eastern suburbs best, with awesome access to schools, shops and parks.

The singer had previously lived out of her van and then was living in a hostel rent-free.

A local real estate agent has dubbed Tones and I’s purchase “a vote of confidence for Frankston as a suburb that is safe and family-friendly, and gaining in popularity”.
