24-year-old Cassandra Wood proved to be a fan favourite (and controversial) while competing for Nick’s heart. Despite this, she left the show heartbroken, and hopes to make a more lasting connection with someone else in Paradise.

Brooke Blurton was the front runner on Nick’s season, before she decided to dump him and quit the show in the final week. However, in an early preview for the show, the 24-year-old has teased that there was more to her abrupt exit than was initially thought.
“I’ve protected him for this long… I don’t really want to have to protect Nick,” she says to the other girls in one of the first teasers.

This season is already facing backlash with Channel Ten being slammed for casting past ‘bullies’ Cat Henesey and Alisha Aitken-Radburn.
The girls came under fire for their comments towards the other girls on the 2018 season of The Bachelor with Cat becoming one of the franchise’s most villainous characters ever.
Brittney Weldon arrived as an intruder last season but failed to receive a rose, and was sent packing almost instantly.
Melburnian Shannon Baff also failed to find love with Nick last year, and will be making her reality show return in Paradise.
Several bachelor’s from Ali Oetjen’s season of The Bachelorette will also be appearing!
23-year-old Nathan Favro, who was kicked off the show last year for discussing Ali’s past relationships, will be joining Paddy Collier and finalist Bill Goldsmith.

James Trethewie from Sophie Monk’s season of The Bachelorette in 2017, will also be looking for love. He’ll be living alongside brunette Rachael Gouvignon who found fame on Richie Strahan’s season of The Bachelor in 2016.
Richie himself will also be making an appearance on the show alongside Alex Nation who received Richie’s final rose several years ago.
They split months later and became embroiled in a savage war of words.

American Bachelorette star Alex Bordyukov will also be joining the Bachelors and Bachelorettes with the hope of finding love with one of our Aussie stars.
Bachelor In Paradise is coming soon to Channel Ten.
