Embarrassing Bodies star Doctor Christian Jessen is in hot water after allegedly propositioning a stranger to a drug-fueled threesome on gay dating app Grindr.

Despite trying to dampen rumours by saying he was merely ‘time-wasting’, an anonymous source has revealed an exchange of messages and texts detailing plans of a meeting with Jessen involving numerous illegal drugs and sexual acts.

First reported by the Daily Star Sunday, the practicing GP openly admitted to having a cocktail of drugs readily available at his south London home, including class B drug Mephedrone, the ‘date rape’ drug GHB and cannabis.

After a short conversation with the stranger, referred to as James (not his real name), the 38-year-old Jessen allegedly invited him over to “relax and watch porn, take some stuff and play.”

During the exchange he also discusses the effects of drugs such as cocaine and ecstasy as well as a horse tranquilizer ketamine.

While luring the man to his flat, he begged for James to claim he brought the drugs himself when discussing them with Jessen’s roommate so he didn’t get into trouble, in a trade to share any of the mind altering drugs he had at his disposal.

Since the reports have surfaced, Jessen has denied any wrong-doing, claiming he was merely being silly and it is just an embarrassing situation.

“On these chat sites there is a lot of timewasting and chat and silliness that never leads anywhere. My partner and I will do it on a bored evening and have conversations with no intention of meeting up. It is a bit embarrassing now thinking about it, but you quite often chat to random people,” Jessen told Mirror.co.uk

“It is more an ego thing than anything else, could I get them or not. There is always talk of drugs, in London it is such a problem.

“This chap brought it up. I spend my life advising people on drugs so of course I know all about it.

“I think he said he was going to buy some for ‘x’ amount and I said don’t do that you will be ripped off. Anyone in the know would do that frankly.

“I’ve been stupid but absolutely nothing happened. There was no meeting and no drugs were taken. That is the key point. It was just horny talk really.”

His backtracking is a u-turn on the previously reported version of events, where Jessen not only offered up his own flat for the exchange but also gave out his personal address and told the man to book a cab for 8pm.

Despite screenshots of the exchange and photos sent, he has continued to deny the use of drugs or any intention of meeting up with the young man.

“He started talking about getting some drugs and I told him not to buy any because it sounded like he was going to get ripped off but we didn’t ever meet him and no drugs were taken,” he told the Daily Mail.

“As far as I know, talking about taking drugs, however silly, is not illegal. We were just going along with it really because he started the conversation.

“We had no intention of meeting him. We’re what’s known as “timewasters.”

He continued to say that in his profession he is of course an advocate of avoiding drugs…

“I’ve preached about the effects of drugs in the past and I certainly wouldn’t want to give the wrong impression,” he said.

“It’s been very embarrassing having these messages printed in a paper. It went too far and I feel very silly for doing it.”

Jessen will now be forced to meet with Channel 4 bosses to explain his side of the story and discuss his future career.
