Drake postponed one of his three shows in Toronto for a very sweet reason.

The Canadian rapper visited a hospital in Chicago to surprise a young girl who posted a video of herself doing the ‘In My Feelings’ challenge. However, she wasn’t just any 11-year-old – she’s currently fighting for her life and awaiting an urgent heart transplant.

In the video, Sofia Sanchez danced alongside her cousin in a hospital hallway while tethered to her IV pump. She then made another video from her hospital bed asking him to visit her at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago.

“She has two wishes for her birthday, to get her new heart and to meet her idol, Drake, who is performing Friday and Saturday at the United Center,” the caption reads.

The 11-year-old had no idea her wish to meet Drake would come true.

“Me and my love Sofia talking about Bieber and Owls and Basketball,” Drake captioned a photo of the two on Instagram.

Lucky for us, their time together was captured in an adorable video shared to the hospital’s official Facebook page.

“You asked me to come, and I’m here,” Drake said, opening his arms to Sanchez. “I’m so happy I got to see you.”

The Chicago children’s hospital explained that the young fan was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy, a condition that often leads to heart failure, and require a heart transplantation in order to survive.

Three weeks ago, Sofia underwent open heart surgery in order to connect a mechanical pump that assists the heart and blood flow in people with heart failure. She has been waiting for a new heart for the past several weeks.
