It has appeared up until this point that the gorgeous, talented and serial befriender, Taylor Swift, could do no wrong… But, new claims reported by TMZ say the singer’s first single from her 1989 album, ‘Shake it Off’ was stolen by songwriter, Jessie Braham.

Cosmopolitan have reported that Braham is suing the songstress claiming she ‘borrows heavily’ from his 2013 song ‘Haters Gone Hate.’

Braham’s lyrics are ‘Haters gone hater, playas gone play. Watch out for them fakers, they’ll fake you everyday.’

Well, it is a familiar lyric in Swift’s catchy song, ‘Haters gonna hate, hate, hate, hate. Fakers gonna fake, fake, fake, fake…’

But, after listening to Braham’s song against Tay’s, we’re not sold on the $US42m he’s seeking in damages AND his name attributed to any new prints of ‘Shake it Off.’
