The new trailer for the critically-acclaimed Sundance documentary ‘Love, Antosha’ has dropped and it’s a real tearjerker.
The documentary focuses on the heartbreaking life story of the late actor Anton Yelchin, who died at the age of 27 in a car accident.
From his relationship with Kristen Stewart to his career and his eccentric hobbies, the 92-minute long film includes interviews with actors like Willem Dafoe, Bryce Dallas Howard, Chris Pine, and director J.J. Abrams.
According to his parents, the young actor was not only a star in his own right but an absolutely devoted son who wrote daily notes to his mother. Despite living with cystic fibrosis, Yelchin managed to work on 69 different projects.
At just 27, the ‘Star Trek’ actor was found pinned between his Jeep Grand Cherokee and a brick pillar outside his house in Los Angeles, in what was described as a “freak accident”.
As Yelchin got out of his car, the vehicle reportedly rolled back down his driveway, which was on a steep incline, trapping him against the pillar and a security fence. He died as a result of “blunt traumatic asphyxia”.
While ‘Love, Antosha’ won’t be released until August, the documentary’s two-minute trailer is guaranteed to have you in tears.
