Have you ever said something you wish you could take back?

Of course you have. And PJ is no exception.

The only problem is, it happened with Opposition Leader Bill Shorten.

It started innocently enough. You know, a bit of playful banter.

Then Jase brought up Prince Charles, who made headlines over the weekend after calling the Queen ‘Your Majesty’, then ‘Mummy’ during her star-studded 92nd birthday bash at the Royal Albert Hall.

And then it happened …

PJ: Do you still call your mum “mummy”?

Bill Shorten: Did you just ask me if I still call my mum “mummy”?

PJ: Yep.

Bill Shorten: Well, I would but she died a few years ago.

PJ: *awkward silence*

Bill Shorten: Cue awkward music.

Oh, dear … Let’s just say, it’s definitely a wish-I-could-do-it-all-over-again moment for PJ.
