The star has joined up with nutritionist Marco Borges to promote his program – The 22-Day Revolution.
In an interview with GMA in the US, the Bootylicious singer shared how she has struggled with her weight.
“I am not naturally the thinnest woman – I have curves,” she said.
“I’m proud of my curves and I have struggled since a young age with diets.
“Finding something that actually works, actually keeps the weight off, is difficult for me.”
Beyonce credit’s the plant-based diet for finally keeping the weight off.
“I felt like my skin was really firm – a lot tighter then when I deprived myself of food,” she said.
“It got the weight off fast and the weight stayed off.”
