To say that Bec Judd is busy would be an understatement.
After all, she is balancing the demands of a successful career and family, which is a challenge that isn’t for the faint of heart.
And that is what makes her a force to be reckoned with.
The 35-year-old, who is a mother-of-four and married to former AFL champion Chris Judd, juggles her TV and other work commitments with such ease that you can’t help but be impressed.
How does she do it?
In an interview with WHO, Bec talks about all that including her surprise twin pregnancy two years ago and what she learned along the way.
“We thought we’d have a third child … maybe,” she said.
“But then we were away on holiday and we tried literally one time, and before I could change my mind, I was already pregnant!”
She even admitted to suffering from a panic attack on hearing the news.
“I was in shock. I feel like I’ll be in shock every day for the rest of my life! How did this happen to me?”
And how exactly did her husband Chris react to the news?
“All I could hear was f-bombs down the phone. We didn’t know whether we wanted three, let alone four. I mean, it’s the best thing that ever happened to us, but it was a big adjustment.”
Despite the initial shock, they wouldn’t have it any other way. “I can’t imagine my life without them.”
As a result, Bec knew she needed to be smarter with her time. “I have cut back on work hours a lot,” she said.
“I was almost working seven days a week. And it’s like, ‘Why?’ This time, I have still got a lot on my plate, but I am trying to space them out more.”
And what about more babies? “Definitely no more babies! I just don’t want to split my attention anymore.”
