Another ultimate music collaboration could be on the way!

Earlier this year, Bebe Rexha sparked rumours of a song coming with other mega artists, Ava Max, Dua Lip and Rita Ora following a tweet that she put out.

“I want a collab @dualipa @ritaora @avamax”, she wrote online at the time.

At the time, Ava Max replied to the Tweet saying “New lady marmalade”, in reference to the last time a bunch of female pop artists dominated the music scene with a collab.

This all happened back in January, so of course we’ve been sitting here waiting patiently for the song to drop! But with no further mention of it, Kyle and Jackie O decided to ask Ava Max whether it was actually happening or not when she joined them on air this morning.

“Last time we asked you about when Bebe Rexha hit you and Dua Lipa up on socials asking about a collaboration. Did anything actually happen from that?” Jackie asked.

Ava told us that nothing has been recorded in the studio as of yet, but that she’s confident that it will happen!

“Not yet but hopefully soon,” Ava told us. “They’re incredible and I know we’re all so busy though.”

Despite being busy, Ava did tell us that there are ways around their various locations and schedules when it comes to collaborations.

“It’s basically a collaborative effort, like if we’re in different studios we write different parts in different studios or we can write it all in one room, so together yeah,” Ava continued.

Let’s hope this track actually does make it out there! We have no doubt it would be epic!

During her chat with Kyle and Jackie O, Ava also spoke about her upcoming performance at the European Music Awards and what costume she’s chosen for Halloween!
