A woman once dubbed “Britain’s fattest teenager” had to be removed from her home by a crane in a seven-hour procedure to be taken to hospital.
Georgia Davis, 22, weighs 381kg and fell over in her specially adapted flat in Wales. She was unable to get herself back up again, so emergency services were called to wrench her out in an operation dubbed “absolute chaos” by an eyewitness.
Roads were allegedly shut down around the area, which was in “complete lockdown all day”.
Ms Davis began eating as a way to cope with the death of her father when she was a child.
She was removed from a property by a crane in 2012 in an operation that required 40 builders, scaffolders and crew, and cost hundreds of thousands of dollars.
