American teen musician Billie Eilish will sing the theme song for the upcoming James Bond film, making her the youngest artist to write and record a song for the film franchise.
The 18-year-old has reportedly already recorded the untitled song for the 25th Bond film, No Time To Die, which debuts in Australian theatres on April 8th.
“It feels crazy to be a part of this in every way. To be able to score the theme song to a film that is part of such a legendary series is a huge honour,” Eilish said in a statement.
“James Bond is the coolest film franchise ever to exist. I’m still in shock.”

Eilish’s brother Finneas O’Connell (FINNEAS) also collaborated on the project after he produced her critically acclaimed album ‘When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?’ last year.
“Writing the theme song for a Bond film is something we’ve been dreaming about doing our entire lives,” he explains.
“There is no more iconic pairing of music and cinema than the likes of Goldfinger and Live And Let Die. We feel so so lucky to play a small role in such a legendary franchise, long live 007.”
