New Diet Claims To Help People Lose Up To 5 Kilos In 3 Days

When it comes to getting fit and losing weight there’s so many different diets and exercise regimes out there that claim to be the best in the business in helping us reach out goals.

The reality is that not all of the methods and programs out there are all that they’re cracked up to be and don’t always work. But one new diet to hit the scene is claiming to be one of the exceptions, with people saying that they’ve lost several kilos in just a few days by following it’s strict plan.

It’s called the military diet and it’s been inspired by the method that US troops use to help them lose weight. According to Kyle and Jackie O’s executive producer, many celebrities are swearing by it and are actually seeing incredible results.

“All these celebrities like Khloe Kardashian and what not they’re swearing by this bloody thing called the military diet,” he said. “They’re losing apparently up to four and a half to five kilos in just three days.”

Sounds amazing right? But we have to say, sticking to the strict diet, especially what you're allowed to eat in the first three days, sounds nearly impossible to achieve.

Apparently the way that it works is that the first three days is the most important part and after then the diet rules ease off a bit. In the first few days you’re only allowed to consume about 1100 calories per day, which equates to no more than two Big Macs.

Bruno also explained what a days food might look like during this strict diet period. And boy it sounds like you’d be HUNGRY!

“This is what your breakfast would look like, an egg, slice of toast, half a banana, that’s it,” explained Bruno. And it just gets worse from there. “Lunch, hard boiled egg. Dinner 200g leg of ham, cup of broccoli, half a cup of carrots, half a banana, and that’s it.”

And apparently if you stick to this food the weight will start to almost slide off in the first few days! Of course some fitness is involved but apparently it only has to be moderate exercise.

“I think it’s got to be with regular exercise but the whole point is that it doesn’t have to be rigorous exercise,” continued Bruno. After these three days of strict diet, people are encouraged to eat healthy for the next four days.

Kyle and Jackie thought that this military diet didn’t actually sound too difficult! In fact, they said that they’d even give it a go to see if it works.

“It feels like it’s doable, don’t you think,” said Jackie. “We should try it.”

“I reckon I could eat that,” added Kyle. “I might go on the military diet.”

We’ll leave that one to you Kyle and Jackie…It sounds way too hard to us. We don’t think we’d have the discipline to give up chicken nuggets.
