Pregnant Woman Wants To Facetune Her Baby On Instagram
All babies are just naturally cute right? Well, not according to this one pregnant mumma!
Kyle and Jackie O were discussing the fact that so many people edit their pictures with applications like Photoshop or Facetune before posting them on social media these days when they decided to open up the lines to see what sort of things our listeners change on their pics.
Pregnant Woman Tells Kyle And Jackie O That She Will Facetune Her Newborn Baby's Pictures
We had people calling up with a few of the usual things - making themselves look skinnier, their skin look smoother or their features more noticeable. But one woman admitted to something that we certainly didn’t expect.
Lisa told us that she is pregnant and due to go into labour any day now. And when we asked her how she was manipulating her images she admitted that once her baby is born she’ll be Facetuning all of the baby pictures.
Why? Because she doesn’t want her baby to look UGLY on her socials.
“I’m due to give birth in a couple of days and I will be Facetuning my child,” Lisa told us.
“I do not want an ugly baby out there in the world for everyone to see.”
“You’re lying,” said Jackie in complete shock. “You don’t even know what your baby’s going to look like.”
Lisa went on to explain that she’s worried about how judgemental people can be on social media these days and doesn’t want to subject her baby to critiques.
“My other two were very good looking but I want to make sure with this one especially because Instagram is such a world where everyone judges you by the way your child looks and I don’t want that negativity brought on my child," she continued.
As for how exactly she will edit the baby pics, Lisa explained that she just wants o make sure that everything looks perfect.
“I just want to make sure that the hair looks nice and there’s no like - you know how sometimes when you have a baby they have a little dent in their head - I want to make sure that that doesn’t happen, that the skin colour is all clear.
“I just want to make sure that there’s no impurities on the photo of the baby.”
Well this one’s sure to anger the mummy bloggers out there! Let us know what you think in the comments!
