On a day of soaring temperatures that has the Bureau of Meteorology warning Sydney of Severe Fire Danger, Fire & Rescue NSW is on the hunt for new firefighters.
Men and women from a wide range of industries and fields are encouraged to think about giving it a go, with the campaign targeting people with all kinds of skills and experiences.

FRNSW Commissioner Paul Baxter says it’s designed to attract the largest possible pool of candidates.
"They have to be fit, passionate and resilient individuals who have good judgement, well-developed interpersonal skills and have the capacity to work in small, tight and effective teams," he said.
Thousands of would-be firefighters are expected to put their hands up when applications open on Monday.
They’ll need to complete an online application and undergo a series of tests.
