Two Men On The Run After Bizarre Burglary In Sydney
Two men are on the run after impersonating policeman and robbing a money exchange shop in Sydney’s North-West.
NSW Police said the men entered the second-floor store on Rowe Street in Eastwood at around 1:20PM on Sunday and told a 54-year-old female staff member they were police.
The pair, who are seen in CCTV vision dressed in dark suits with sunglasses and gloves, forced a 31-year-old customer to the ground and jumped over the store counter.
“One male had police identification on him and the other one had handcuffs,” NSW Police Detective Inspector Glyn Baker said.
The men were able to rob the store safe and also took the two victims’ wallets before driving away from the scene.
Both victims were uninjured in the robbery.
Police are now appealing for members of the public for any witnesses who may have seen the men.
