Sydney Woman Who Keyed Car Multiple Times Hands Herself In

This morning Kyle and Jackie O had a listener call up asking for some help to find a woman who had been caught on dash cam keying their three-month-old Audi car several times in Sydney’s Dover Heights.

Earlier today, we put the call out for help on air and published the video footage on the KIIS social media accounts to try and get as many people on the look out for the woman as possible.

We have just had word come into the KIIS newsroom that a woman has now handed herself into Waverley Police Station after the crime was made public.

Speaking to KIIS exclusively, a spokesperson for NSW Police has confirmed that a woman has handed herself into police and is currently assisting them with enquiries into the incident.

The NSW Police spokesperson also confirmed that the woman has not been officially charged with any offences at this stage.

It is not yet known what inspired the woman to vandalise this particular vehicle numerous times.

More as we get it.

UPDATE:

The 51-year-old woman from Vaucluse has been charged with five counts of malicious damage. She has been granted conditional bail and will appear in Downing Centre Local Court on 12 April 2018.
