Sydney House Destroyed In Suspicious Early Morning Blaze
Seven people have managed to make it out of a house without serious injury after it was destroyed in a suspicious pre-dawn fire in Sydney’s suburb of Epping.
Emergency services were called to the home on Midson Road at about 1:15am after reports of a fire. The house was found well alight and Fire & Rescue NSW worked to extinguish the blaze.
Thankfully all occupants of the home made it out okay with only one male taken to hospital to treat a small laceration, however, the home could not be saved and was destroyed by the fire.
A number of surrounding properties were evacuated as a precaution but those residents have since returned to their homes.
Emergency services remain on the scene and a crime scene has since been established by officers from Ryde Police Area Command. An investigation will help determine what caused the fire.
