Queen's Full Staff Called To London For Emergency Meeting
Could something be afoot inside Buckingham Palace?
Reports suggest that Queen Elizabeth II’s entire staff were called back to London last night for an emergency meeting to be held today.
The Lord Chamberlain sent word to all members of the Royal Household and will address the staff – however they have been left in the dark about the topic of such meeting.
According to The Daily Mail, multiple sources said the last minute meeting was ‘highly unusual’ and had caused speculation surrounding the health of the Queen or her husband the Duke of Edinburgh.
Meetings are reportedly called from time to time of the entire staff, but the last minute notice yesterday has some worried.
Everyone is on tenterhooks,” a source told The Daily Mail.
“Although meetings involving the entire royal household are occasionally called, the way this has been done at the eleventh hour is highly unusual and suggests that there is something major to be disseminated.
“But at the moment, only those closest to her genuinely know what on earth this is all about.”
The rumour is that the Queen may be rescinding the Crown in order to pass it down to Prince Charles.
Staff were called from as wide reaching areas as Windsor Castle, Sandringham and Balmoral in Scotland.
The alarm was raised over Christmas when both Queen Elizabeth II, 91, and her husband Prince Phillip, 95, became unwell with heavy colds.
Their illness so bad that the Queen could not attend the Christmas day service – an unprecedented move.
We hope there is no cause for concern in the Royal family and it is just an administrational update.
