Biggest Brands In The World Is PULLING OUT Of Australia
American retailer GAP will be closing down all of its stores in Australia within the next six months.
The operator of the franchise down under has said it will discontinue its relationship with the retailer and will close all six Gap stores by the end of January.
The troubled Australian company said closing the Gap stores would allow it to focus on its core Oroton handbag business and limit future financial losses.
However, it was too early to put a figure on what impact it would have, it said.
Gap employees 50 full-time and 150 casual staff members who will redeployed but there may be some redundancies.
