Man Impaled On Fence In Inner Sydney

A man was rushed to hospital after falling from a roof at Waterloo on Thursday morning.

About 9.15am, emergency services were called to Belmont Street, following reports a man had fallen while working on a roof.

On arrival, officers found the man had impaled his knee on a fence.

A 68-year-old man was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics and was taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in a stable condition.

The incident is not being treated as suspicious.
