Man And Woman Suffering Stab Wounds In Kuring Gai Area
Police are investigating after a man and a woman have been left hospitalised after they suffered stab wounds in the Kuring Gai area last night.
Police were called to a unit in Asquith at around 10:35pm following reports that people had been arguing.
When officers arrived at the unit on Peats Ferry Road they found a 28-year-old woman lying on the floor suffering a wound. A 32-year-old woman and 33-year-old man were also inside but were uninjured.
NSW Ambulance paramedics were called to the scene and the injured woman was treated before being taken to Hornsby Hospital where she remains in a stable condition.
As police established a crime scene, officers were told that a second man had arrived at Hornsby Hospital with critical stab wounds. Police believe that this man may have been at the same Asquith unit prior to travelling to the hospital.
This man is currently being treated in intensive care.
The 32-year-old woman and the 33-year-old man were arrested and taken to Hornsby Police Station but inquiries into the incident are still continuing.
