Kmart URGE Consumers To Return Popular Item Over Fire Hazard
Consumers have been warned to stop using a popular Kmart kitchen item, over fears it may result in a fire.
Kmart's 30L Kambrook Essentials Microwave Oven has a defect which may result in fire, potentially causing injury to consumers or damage to surrounding areas.
Consumers who own this product have been urged to stop using the appliance, unplug it from the socket outlet and return it to any Kmart store for a replacement Kambrook Essentials Microwave Oven 30L (KMO400).

According to Product Safety Australia, the fault is only batch related. The item was sold exclusively through Kmart between 1 September 2008 - 1 September 2013.
