Hunt Underway For Man Who Stabbed THREE Others In Sydney Gym
A hunt is underway after three men were stabbed in a Sydney gym last night.
According to witnesses, an "agitated and aggressive" man entered the Vision fitness centre on Pittwater Road, Brookvale at about 8pm on Monday night, before approaching a group of five men and punching one them.
He then pulled out a knife, stabbing three of them and fleeing the scene in a stolen vehicle.
The stabbing victims were taken to Royal North Shore Hospital, where they're understood to be in a stable condition.
NSW Police believe the same man is also responsible for two further armed attacks; an hour-and-a-half after the gym stabbing, two different petrol stations in Sandgate, Newcastle, were held up by a man brandishing a knife.
The man, whose description matches that of the gym attacker, made away with cash in both instances.
"Officers responding to the armed robbery saw the stolen vehicle leaving the service station and pursued, however it managed to evade police," a statement from the NSW Police said.
Officers are urging anyone with further information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, but are warning the public NOT to approach the man; it's believed the man may still be armed and in the stolen vehicle, a black BMW with a DKK 39Q number plate.
