Goalkeeper Calls Wife In Final Moments After Plane Crash
In his final moments, Brazilian goalkeeper Marcos Danilo managed to make one last call to his wife after the flight he was on crashed in Colombia.
The 31-year-old was travelling with his Chapecoense teammates when the chartered plane crashed near the city of Medellin.
Of the 81 people on board, 76 tragically lost their lives.
According to Brazilian media, Danilo was rushed to hospital after being pulled from the wreckage.
It was in those final moments that he spoke to his wife.
Sadly it was one of the last things he did before passing away.

It is being reported the Chapecoense football team had changed planes at the last minute.
En route to the Copa Sudamericana final, players and coaches filled the seats of the doomed flight.
