Burke Ramsey's New Lawsuit That Could See Him Pocket $750m

The brother of JonBenét Ramsey has filed a second lawsuit over a CBS television series which labelled him a killer.

Burke Ramsey has filed a $750 million lawsuit against CBS, a production company and seven consultants on the special which aired in September.

In the CBS special 'The Case Of: JonBenét Ramsey' investigators concluded that a then 9-year-old Burke killed his sister by hitting her over the head with a flashlight.

Documents reveal Burke is suing for $250 million in compensatory damages and $500million in punitive damages for 'permanent damage to his reputation.'

It's the second lawsuit Burke has filed over the TV special. A month after the CBS show aired he filed a $150 million lawsuit against Dr. Werner Spitz who appeared as a crime expert in the program.

Attorneys for Dr. Spitz have applied to have the case thrown out of court on the grounds his comments are protected by the First Amendment.

Dr. Spitz's attorneys have pushed to have the case thrown out on the grounds that his comments are protected by the First Amendment.
