Borce Ristevski Pleads Guilty To Manslaughter Of His Wife
The Herald Sun is reporting that Borce Ristevski, the husband of murdered Melbourne woman Karen Risteviski, has confessed to killing his wife.
The father of two had previously maintained his innocence over his wife's disappearance.
However, on the eve of his trial starting, he has now pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of manslaughter, according to the newspaper.
It is not known how Mrs Ristevski was killed, with her remains found badly decomposed nine months after she disappeared.
In August, at Borce Ristevski’s committal hearing, prosecutor Matt Fisher said “This isn’t just an accidental killing. Something happened in the house … the accused man engages in behaviour soon after he has either killed her or caused her serious injury.’
The trial will begin tomorrow.
