Body Found With Hands Bound And ‘Dog Collar’ Around Neck

Horrifying details are surfacing surrounding the the grim discovery of a body in a park in Sydney’s lower north shore yesterday.

A council worker, who had been mowing the grass at Buffalo Creek Reserve in Hunters Hill, found the body of a woman near a children’s playground after following drag marks into the bushes.

The worker was visibly shaken as he was led away from the scene by police. It has since been revealed that the woman’s body was found with her hands bound with tape and with a pink “dog’s collar’ around her neck. She was dressed in dark polka-dot clothing.

The woman’s remains are yet to be identified but an investigation is ongoing as the Homicide Squad treats the death as suspicious.

The body had been found at the end of drag marks in the dirt that reportedly extended for about 30 metres.

Emergency services were called and a crime scene was established at the reserve. Police combed through the area searching for witnesses and clues.

Police have not yet confirmed the age or identity of the woman but they did say that there were no signs of decomposition.

Anyone with information is being urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
