Body Of Blue Mountains Parks Worker Remains Under Rock Slab
The body of a parks worker remains under the rock slab that crushed him to death in the Blue Mountains yesterday.
Authorities will start work to retrieve the body of the 36 year old man today.
He and two others were working to improve the safety of the Wentworth Falls track when the rock slide struck.
The site had been closed since August due to an unstable section of rock above the track.
Emergency services rushed to the walk track in Wentworth Falls yesterday, but due to the remote location, it took them some time to access the site of the incident.
