Body Of Man, 20, Found At Wattamolla Lagoon In Sydney
The search for a man who disappeared from a popular swimming hole in a National Park in Sydney’s south has ended in tragedy after his body was located.
NSW Police and the Westpac Life Save Rescue Helicopter were alerted at about 6:15pm yesterday that a 20-year-old man had gone missing and was last seen in the water at Wattamolla lagoon.
A search from the air and ground was launched immediately but eventually the helicopter had to be called off due to low light conditions.
Just after 1:30am today police divers found the body of the 20-year-old Indian National’s body just a short distance from where he was last seen.
A report will now be prepared for the coroner.
