Angry Anderson’s Son Liam Farewelled At Emotional Service
Rose Tattoo singer Angry Anderson and his wife Lindy have farewelled their young son Liam in an emotional service supported by close friends and family.
Liam, 26, was laid to rest on Monday, three weeks after he was allegedly murdered by his friend.
More than 400 mourners gathered in a chapel in North Ryde to say their final farewells.
In an emotional address to the mourners, Angry motioned to Lindy as he described Liam as “a wonderful child we had raised”.
A montage of photographs featuring Liam, were shown on a screen accompanied by music from David Bowie.
Angry was comforted by his children Blaine, Galen and Roxanne, as well as friends of Liam’s.
Ms Anderson collapsed in tears telling The Daily Telegraph: “I’ll never hold my baby boy again, life will never be the same."
“It’s real now, until today I could pretend Liam’s death never happened but now it’s sinking in, I will never see my baby boy again.”
Liam, Anderson’s youngest child, was found in a Queenscliff park on November 4, with acquaintance Matthew Flame standing over him after a night of partying.
Flame, 20, has been charged with Liam’s murder.
