21-Year-Old Man Found Dead At Home In Sydney's South
Police are investigating after a young man was found dead in a home in Sydney’s south and a teenager was found unconscious after the pair were allegedly involved in a crash 12 hours earlier.
Emergency services were called to the home on Collins Place, Engadine at about 3:45pm on Tuesday after reports of concern for the welfare of the two men.
Police confirmed that when they arrived they found a 21-year-old man dead and a 17-year-old boy unconscious.
The teen was treated at the scene being being rushed to St George Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Police are now investigating whether the 21-year-old died of a drug overdose. Officers seized a number of items from the home which will now undergo forensic analysis.
It’s alleged that the men were involved in a crash at about 2:30am on Tuesday where a VW Amarok ute crashed into the fence of a house on Kingwood Road in Engadine.
Officers from Sutherland Shire Police Area Command are currently investigating and a reports is being prepared for the coroner.
