Miranda Kerr’s Bro Matty Invites You Pokolbin Pride Festival

You may not know it, but this weekend, (20th-22nd Oct) is Equality Weekend.

Founded by Miranda Kerr’s brother Matty, and his partner Jimmy, the festival is a chance to celebrate ‘Equality’ - something very poignant at the moment especially.

Celebrating it’s second year, Pokolbin Pride Festival is the place to be if you want to celebrate amazing art, party, eat, drink and be merry.

And this year, you can do it in style.

For just $999, you can stay accommodation for two for two nights in a luxurious Hunter Valley tent (the price includes tent, linen and power).

PLUS, you’ll BOTH get all of the below:

Admission into Friday night Bubbles & Beats welcome party at Peterson House (and a bottle of Reserve bubbles), Saturday Night Live at Tamburlaine Organic Wines, with canapes and a bottle of Reserve Wine. As well as lunch at Nanna Kerr’s Kitchen on Saturday between 12pm and 3pm with a bottle of Pokolbin Pride Chardonnay or Shiraz, topped off by Easy Sunday at Ivanhoe Wines with a bottle of Reserve Wine.

But it doesn’t stop there, you’ll also get shuttle service from the campsite for all three days, two Pokolbin Pride hoodies, and a drawing by the Artist is Residence, Nick Prentoski of you and your Pokolbin Pride partner.

The total cost of this weekend is $619 per person and there are only 40 of these packages available, so be QUICK!

Each year, the festival also holds an Art Expo at Tamburlaine Organic Winery - and this year, you’re in for a bit of a treat.

LGBTQI artist, Nick Pentroski will be showcasing his work, and his controversial piece named ‘Prime Meat’, featuring Tony Abbott dressed in rainbow flag Speedo’s, wrapped in the arms of hunky men, is sure to set tongues wagging.

They will also be announcing the first Pokolbin Pride LGBTQI Portrait Prize, which will take place in 2018 and will award both established and emerging artists within the LGBTQI community a sizeable grant.

If you support equality, same sex marriage and the LGBTQI community, this is one weekend you DO NOT want to miss!
