Bec Judd's Top 3 Overseas Travel Tips
There’s nothing like travel to refresh your horizons.
So, whether you’re dreaming of relaxing on the shores of Mykonos or roaming the streets of Paris, Bec Judd reveals her top tips and tricks for travelling light and smart.
1. Know Your Baggage Allowance
On most airlines, the checked baggage allowance is determined by fare type, travel class, frequent-flyer status, and in some cases, the particular route flown. However, your travel agent will be able to advise you of the exact allowance available.
Seriously, you don’t want to be THAT person pulling items out of your bag at check-in.
2. Make a list… and pack easy clothing that you know will work for you
You’re on holidays so do you really need to worry about a new outfit for every day? The winning formula tends to allow for three tops for every bottom.
Plus, you have to leave room in your suitcase for some glamorous new outfits from the European stores!
3. Make sure your liquids are under 100MLS
When you pack for international travel, pick your liquids, aerosols and gels – such as creams, perfumes, toothpaste, gels – carefully, making sure no container exceeds 100ml.
You don’t want to lose your sunscreen before you even hit the beach.
But, most importantly, don’t stress too much – travel is fun! Getting organised early means you’re free to enjoy yourself once you land.
