Sydney food mash-ups for when you can’t decide what to eat

Can’t decide between hand-crumbed chicken and creamy mushroom pasta? Well say hello to the Schnitzel Fettuccini at Rashays.

They recently debuted the Ultimate Parmy Lasagne, featuring chicken breast schnitzel topped with Angus beef lasagne - but hurry, it’s only available until Sunday 15 October.

Cheeseburger Spring Rolls, Ms G’s

It’s the stuff of dreams. And needless to say, rave reviews – from around the world, no less.

If you can’t make it to the Potts Point restaurant, chef Dan Hong has posted the recipe online so you can make them at home.

Kamikaze Katsu, Gelato Messina at Night Noodle Markets

The Night Noodle Markets are bringing deliciousness to Hyde Park until October 22 and again this year Messina has delivered the goods with an epic mash-up.

The Kamikaze Katsu combines sweet and savoury, consisting of sudachi lime gelato coated in red velvet cake and panko crumbs, then sandwiched in fluffy white bread with yuzu sauce and deep fried.

Donut Cone, Hungary Bites

After the Cronut crazes, comes the sweet combo of a cone made of doughy donut, filled with smooth soft-serve ice-cream.

There are versions of this dish at eateries across Sydney, but Hungary Bites travels to the people, hitting up events across the city, including the Westie Markets at Emu Plains, held on the third Sunday of the month at Nepean Creative and Performing Arts High School.

While you’re there, grab a Vietnamese tea in a bag to wash it all down!
