Study Shows Drinking HEAPS Of Coffee Is Good For You

Listen up coffee lovers! Some good news has just come to light!


According to a review in British Medical Journal, coffee might actually be good for your health. The review looked at 201 studies and found that drinking up to four cups of coffee a day is doing more good than harm.

The study found, “Coffee consumption was more often associated with benefit than harm for a range of health outcomes”.

High coffee consumption has been linked with a lower risk of specific cancers including: prostate cancer, endometrial cancer, melanoma, oral cancer, leukaemia, non-melanoma skin cancer, and liver cancer.

The review also found that people who drink three cups of coffee a day have the lowest rick of suffering from cardiovascular disease, coronary heart disease and stroke.

Some more benefits of drinking large amounts of coffee includes a lower risk of neurological problems including Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease and depression. 

It is important to note that the study only found correlations between coffee consumption and the above health outcomes, but it was not determined if coffee was the cause.
