The SPIDER Statistic That Will Make Your Skin CRAWL
Ever wake in the middle of the night and feel like spiders are running all over your body?
Well, they could be.
A spokesman from NSW’s Central Coast Australian Reptile Park says if you live in Sydney it’s highly likely SEVERAL huntsmen have walked across your face during your sleep.
“Huntsmen can walk across you and you wouldn’t know,” Michael Tate told local media.
“By the time you’re 35 years old, and if you’re living in Sydney, several huntsmen will have walked across your face during your sleep.”
"It’s very likely that someone may have had prey caught on their face by a huntsman. Bushy eyebrows are the perfect hunting ground for a spider.”
Excuse us while we book a brow wax.
However, Mr Tate said we should actually be happy with huntsmen in the house as they protect from other prey.
They kill cockroaches and keep the more dangerous spiders at bay.
Meanwhile, in America arachnid curator Rod Crawford of Seattle’s Burke Museum says we swallow eight spiders a year in our sleep.
