From 10:00am on Saturday, the A & I Hall will behold empowering, free workshops for the community, including free yoga and self-defense.

A women’s film festival will follow to reclaim Valentine’s night.

Alongside the festivities, For the Love of Byron will host a one day pop-up shop featuring Byron Bay’s best and most romantic gifts for last minute V-Day purchases.

In 2014, V-Day Byron Bay raised more than $20,000 for Assist-A-Sista Australia, providing much needed assistance to survivors of domestic violence.

Over 5,800 V-Day benefits are held around the world, raising funds and awareness towards ending violence against women.
