There’s A DREAM Job Going In The Royal Family
Forget carrier pigeons. Queen Elizabeth II is on the hunt for a Royal Tweeter.
Her Majesty is looking for someone to join her exclusive inner circle as a digital communications officer.
You will literally be responsible for Queen Elizabeth’s social media accounts, including her @RoyalFamily Twitter account, which boats over 2.77 million followers.
Dream job much?
Remember in 2014, when The Queen sent her first ever tweet?
It is a pleasure to open the Information Age exhibition today at the @ScienceMuseum and I hope people will enjoy visiting. Elizabeth R.— The Royal Family (@RoyalFamily) October 24, 2014
She’s since gone on to share her personal views on a number of issues since.
The Royal Household advertised the maternity cover position on their official website.
The full-time role pays around AUD$50,000 a year and consists of 37.5 hours a week, with 33 annual leave days.
They are looking for someone who will strive at “finding new ways to maintain The Queen’s presence in the public eye” and will “help hone and shape our digital communications through analytics, monitoring and exploring new technologies.”
You also need to have a number of adequate qualifications including a university degree in a related field.
So if you’re a gun at social media (who isn’t these days?), what are you waiting for?
