The Little Girl Who Danced With Leo In Titanic Is Grown Up
Leonardo DiCaprio. Teenage Heartthrob of the 90s. But at his peak, there was only one girl who he himself called his 'best girl'.
Alexandrea Owens, who is now 26, played Cora in the 1997 blockbuster Titanic. She was the lucky little girl who got to dance with 'Jack Dawson' at the rowdy party in down in third class before Rose, played by Kate Winslet, came down from first class to join in in the merry festivities.
Nowadays Alexandrea is all grown up, and she's is telling all about what it was like to 'hang out' with the then-22-year-old apple of every-single-woman-alive's collective eye.
Apparently Leo would order her PB&J sandwiches between scenes, and also kept the dancing going to get her to laugh and calm her nerves. What a cutie!!
Her very first scene - which was cut from the final version of the film - involved sitting with Leo while he drew pictures in his sketchbook. Alexandrea said she even got to keep one of Leo's drawings - but, it was stolen out of a trailer before she could take it home, sad!
Here she is all grown up, with some bruised up looking makeup for a new project she is working on!
