One Of Australia's Biggest Selling Foods Has Been RECALLED

Parmalat Australia has issued a recall on all its  110g Tamar Valley Dairy Kids Yoghurt pouches from all major retailers across Australia, due to a packaging issue involving faulty green coloured caps.

When the cap is resealed, the centre may become dislodged and create a possible choking hazard for young kids.

It affects these specific pouches:

Strawberry flavour: use by date 20th August - 1st October 2017 inclusive.

Vanilla flavour: use by date 20th August - 25th September 2017 inclusive.

Tropical flavour: use by date 20th August - 25th September 2017 inclusive.

If you have purchased the affected pouches with the mushroom-style cap, the advice is to return the product to its place of purchase for a full cash refund.

"Parmalat is greatly concerned by any risk to its consumers.

This recall is being undertaken to ensure the safety of our consumers as an ongoing commitment to maintain the highest possible standards of safety and product quality at all times," the company said in a statement.
